Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chiropodist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with expertise in diagnosing and treating foot and lower limb conditions. This role involves working closely with patients to provide comprehensive foot care, pain management, and education on maintaining healthy feet. The Chiropodist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chiropodist 5 days a week to join our reputable practice of over 25 years in Alliston. This is an exceptional opportunity for a new graduate looking to build on a well-established practice and contribute to the health and wellness of our community.

The successful candidate will bring expertise in podiatric care & a commitment to patient well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' foot health and overall well-being. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform various procedures including nail care, callus removal, and wound management. Provide education to patients regarding foot care practices and preventative measures. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems. Stay updated on medical terminology relevant to podiatry and general healthcare practices.

Experience · Graduate of an accredited institution of chiropody/podiatry · Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario · Proof of professional liability insurance · Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills · Proficiency with electronic/computer software use · Ability to work independently and as a team member · Must be in good standing will all Extended Health Care Insurances

Sonia Maragoni is the owner of the Alliston Foot & Orthotic Clinic . She has been a Chiropodist in Alliston since 1997. Sonia has a Diploma in Chiropody (1997), a BSc in Podiatric Medicine (2005), and a Bachelor in Health Administration (2008). Sonia is a member of the College of Chiropodist , the Ontario Society of Chiropodists, and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine. Sonia is fluent in French and Italian.
