Job Description / Duties

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Chiropodist to join our busy practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to a diverse patient base in a professional, patient-focused environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform full clinical assessments
• Diagnose (with differentials) and treat common foot conditions: ingrown toenails, fungal infections, corns, calluses, verrucae, heel pain, etc.
• Provide routine and advanced foot care including nail care, callus reduction, wound management, and diabetic foot care.
• Prescribe, cast, and dispense custom orthotics and advise on footwear.
• Perform minor surgical procedures within scope (e.g. partial/total nail avulsions) under local anesthesia.
• Prescribe medications as permitted by the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
• Educate patients on preventive foot care, footwear, and lifestyle factors.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans using EMR systems.
• Ensure infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments are followed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed (family physicians, physiotherapists, etc.).
• Participate in continuing education and maintain registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Registered Chiropodist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario

Salary: Hourly or % split available.
