We are located in Norfolk County which is a rural municipality on the north shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario. The largest community in Norfolk County is Simcoe, home to Simcoe Foot Care & Custom Orthotic Centre.
Simcoe, Ontario, is located approximately south of Brantford, and southwest of Toronto. Simcoe is the heart of the surrounding 26 rural communities in Norfolk County and has over 19 Breweries and Wineries, many beaches, and lots of outdoor activities. www.norfolkcounty.ca or www.norfolktourism.ca
The community, medical practitioners, hospital and family health teams are our excellent referral sources that support Simcoe Foot Care & Custom Orthotic Centre. Our busy office has been open since 1996 and currently two Chiropodists maintain an extremely diverse schedule. We have outgrown our work schedule and are seeking a third Chiropodist to join our team. The practice sees patients of all ages and provides a wide variety of services. We are eager to share mutual knowledge and have a fully equipped Clinic with your treatment room ready, with procedures and policies and support staff in place – all you have to do is bring your skills and desire to improve clients’ mobility.
We will support a motivated, communicative Chiropodist for a negotiable work schedule leading to a 40 hour work week. We are looking for a high energy person who is organized, professional and loves working with people.
Our ideal chiropodist will be able to multitask in a busy environment, practice full scope, have a passion for learning, and be willing to work hard in a customer service focused Clinic. We are willing to train the best candidate to join our team of growing foot specialists. A competitive salary is negotiable and dependent on applicant assets. This Chiropodist position comes with vacation pay, statutory holiday pay and sick pay according to ESA standards. The practice is a Chiropodist owned Clinic that is seeking either a young professional to mentor or an experienced Chiropodist to provide an opportunity for owning the Clinic in the future. Qualifications / Required Skills

• Licensed Chiropodist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
• Must have valid Professional Liability Insurance
• Experienced with Medical Emergencies protocols and have a valid CPR certification
• New Grads welcomed
• Must work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
• Familiar with EMR
• Computer skills an asset
