Job Description / Duties

- Practicing within the full scope of chiropody
- Ensure chiropody areas and instruments are maintained according to infection control protocols
- Maintain up-to-date inventory and supplies
- Ensure appropriate and comprehensive treatment is delivered
- Answering patient enquiries and directing patient to the most appropriate treatments

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Graduate of an accredited school of Chiropody/Podiatry.
- Current registered member and in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Experience/Able to work with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) softwares
- Have good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills** small town means interpersonal skills are key!
- Willing to work evening hours once/week minimum
Interested candidates are expected to be able to practice to their full scope, and should be in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.

We offer a wide-range of chiropody services from podiatric footcare, soft tissue procedures, wound care, custom-made orthotics and wart treatments. Being in a small town we offer a personal touch to our services that patients love and look forward to. This also means we work closely with local medical professionals and community groups for reliable referrals, but majority of our clientele is through word of mouth!
The position is part-time, initially, covering for a maternity leave with the ability to transition quickly to full-time. We are open to both new graduates and experienced chiropodists.
