Podiatry Business and Marketing Crash Course - Tyson Franklin
Running a successful podiatry or chiropody clinic isn’t about working longer hours or chasing the latest marketing trend. It’s about clarity, structure, and making smarter business decisions that support both your patients and your professional life.
In this fast-paced, half-day Podiatry Business and Marketing Crash Course, Tyson E. Franklin, podiatrist, business mentor, author of It’s No Secret… There’s Money in Podiatry, and host of the Podiatry Legends Podcast, will guide you through the core principles that underpin high-performing clinics.
This workshop is designed to help you step back from day-to-day clinical busyness and look at your practice through a more strategic lens. Whether you’re a clinic owner, associate, or planning your next career move, the session focuses on practical ideas you can apply immediately, without overwhelm or jargon.
Topics covered include:
1. The Thriving Podiatry Business Model
2. Goal Setting the right way for you and your team
3. Building simple systems and processes that your team will use
4. Improving patient communication, trust, and follow-through
5. Strengthening recall, reactivation, and referral pathways
6. Pricing and value: how to charge what you’re worth with confidence
7. Using marketing to educate patients rather than “selling” to them
8. Identifying Incomplete Treatment and where clinics commonly lose time, money, and momentum (and how to fix it)
9. Using AI effectively in your marketing and patient communications
10. Becoming an employer of choice, not chance.
Attendees will leave with clear, actionable insights they can implement straight away, along with a better understanding of how business, marketing, and clinical excellence work together.
This session is ideal for chiropodists and podiatrists who want more control, more consistency, and a more sustainable practice, without adding unnecessary stress.
