Help Us Celebrate 40 Years of the OSC Conference: Share Your Photos & Memories

Dear OSC Community,

This year marks a major milestone for our profession:
40 years since the Ontario Society of Chiropodists incorporation was filed and 40 years since the very first OSC Conference was held.

While OSC as an organization has existed longer than four decades, this anniversary represents the moment our community became formally united and the moment our annual conference tradition began.

To honour this milestone, we are creating a special 40‑year historical display that celebrates the people, events, and leadership that shaped our profession.

We are gathering:

• Names of chiropodists who have served on the OSC Board of Directors
• Members who have chaired or contributed to OSC committees and task forces
• Photos from conferences, AGMs, workshops, advocacy events, and early OSC gatherings
• Stories, memories, or milestones that capture the evolution of OSC and the conference over the past 40 years

We also warmly welcome photos and memories from earlier years, before the first official OSC Conference; those early chapters are an important part of our shared history.

If you have served in any leadership capacity (or know someone who has) we would love to include you in this anniversary archive. Whether you’re a current member, a past member, or someone who was part of OSC’s early days, we would love to include your memories.

How to Contribute

Please send any of the following to info@ontariochiropodist.com :

• Your name and role(s) within OSC
• Years served
• Any photos (with approximate dates and names of people pictured)
• Brief memories or notes that help capture the moment

You acknowledge that any photos, stories, or materials you share may be used by the Ontario Society of Chiropodists as part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations, including conference displays, publications, our website, social media, and external communications. By submitting materials, you confirm that you have the right to share them and consent to their use for these purposes.

Your contributions will help us honour the legacy of our profession and celebrate 40 years of conferences, connection, and community.
