The OSC will once again be offering a surgical skills course for Chiropodists.
Our last course sold out very quickly and we will only be able to accommodate 40 registrants.

WORSKHOP OVERVIEW
Review skills and techniques, hands-on cadaver lab training and case studies for the following procedures: 

• Injections into the foot of different substances
• Mucoid Cysts removal
• Liopma Removal 
• Granuloma removal
• Scar removal 
• Winograd Procedure
• Simple Excisions
• Wart excision
• Morton Neuroma Nerve Decompression- Kobygard and 64 blade procedures
• Tendon transfer and lengthening

FACULTY
Ajai Rooprai B.Sc., D.Pharm,. IIWCC., D.Ch.
Ajai is the owner and CEO of the Foot Health Clinic and Orthotic Center. He has 22 years of experience in both private and institutional settings and was the clinical coordinator for Chiropody program from 1998 to 2006. Ajai is currently affiliated with one the leading academic Family Health Teams in Toronto and has extensive experience in soft tissue surgical procedures. He is a member of CAWC, OSC and CFPM and has 24 years work experience.

Michael LaCivita DPM
Dr. LaCivita is a Diplomate in The American Board of Podiatric Surgery with extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment, surgical intervention, prevention of conditions of the foot and related structures. He is a graduate of a three year podiatric surgical and medical residency program at Catholic Health in Buffalo, New York, and where he served as Chief Resident.
