Job Description / Duties

• Chiropodist will take on existing patient load and grow their own
• Perform full scope of practice according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
• Communication with other local health care and referring professionals
• Conduct comprehensive chiropody services including foot assessments to identify foot conditions and abnormalities
• Perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe and modify custom foot orthoses
• Provide treatment and management plans for various foot conditions, including corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, fungal infections, diabetic foot care, wound management and foot ailments
• Perform minor surgical procedures, such as nail avulsions, tenotomies etc.
• Educate patients on proper foot care practices, preventive measures, and suitable footwear choices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Chiropody and attend professional development opportunities
• Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the clinic’s success. This includes treating scheduled patients, enhancing retention, and effectively communicating management plans

Qualifications / Required Skills

-Registered in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
-Passionate, reliable, self motivated, mature, and able to work autonomously
-Willing to help other team members and demonstrate a positive attitude - Experienced chiropodists and new grads are welcome to apply.

Eagle Foot Care Clinic is looking for a Part-Time Chiropodist to be a part of our growing clinic that has been serving the Etobicoke community for the last 10 years.

This is a foot clinic that provides a full scope of practice including shockwave, Ultrasound, Clear Toe Light Therapy , orthotic casting (3Ddigital Scanner),and surgery. We welcome new grads to apply and mentoring can be provided. We are a growing clinic with an increasing patient base and are eager to add an enthusiastic and professional Chiropodist to our team.

We are currently looking for a chiropodist for 2 clinical days at both locations (Etobicoke and Mississauga) with the opportunity to add additional days if desired. Looking to fill this position as soon as possible with the right person. Experienced and new graduates are welcome to apply!
