Job Description / Duties

Are you a motivated, energetic and people orientated Chiropodist?

Then we want you, for a busy Chiropody Clinic located in Kincardine on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron.

Our office opened in 2008 and moved to our current building in 2012. We have 3 full time staff members but our part-time Chiropodist just retired. He had been working 2 days a week. We are looking to expand that to a full-time position. The work week could be negotiable with the right candidate. We are a progressive office that offers Low level laser, Lunula Laser for fungal nails and Extracorporeal Shockwave to our patients. Our clinic is supported by the referrals from the local and surrounding medical doctors and hospitals as well as other allied health professionals. We are a growing practice that needs an eager chiropodist to join our team!

Kincardine is a travel destination for people both in the summer and winter. Known for our beautiful beaches and summer festivals. Our Scottish Festival occurs every July with our Blues festival in August. And every Saturday you can see our pipe band marching down the main street lined with spectator from far and wide. Thousands of people descend on our town to enjoy these and so many other activities each and every weekend. Please visit Kincardine tourism for more details on the year-round excitement the area has to offer at www.visitkincardine.ca If you are an outdoor person, you will love the breathtaking trails, provincial parks and miles of coastline just waiting for you to explore.

The town itself is growing exponentially as Bruce Power is the main employer of the area. Bruce Power provides electricity to one in three homes in Ontario and is the worlds leader in the supply of medical isotopes. They just built a huge training facility here in Kincardine and is gearing up to start the major component replacement project in 2021, that will see the surrounding area mushroom for the next 20 or so years.

New grads, experienced chiropodists and current students are all welcome to apply. We are willing to mentor as needed. Applicants should be members in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario with no restrictions on their licence. Benefits are available.
