Job Description / Duties

Temporary position until approximately December 12, 2022.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Basic Requirements

Diploma in Chiropody or equivalent;
Registration with the Ontario College of Chiropodists;
Clinical and educational skills including assessing clients needs, assessment and treatment of routine foot problems, providing referrals, prescription, adjustment and modification foot orthoses, assessment and treatment of high risk foot problems;
Client-centered approach that incorporates treatment, illness prevention and health promotion;
Knowledge of computers;
Proven ability in working effectively with all members of the Health Care team;
Excellent communication, issue management and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

International Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course (IIWCC);
MClSc - WH;
Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
