GENERAL SUMMARY:

Cleveland Clinic Canada is seeking a Chiropodist for a 7-month locum. The Chiropodist will take over a patient load in a busy sports health clinic across Cleveland Clinic Canada’s Downtown and Midtown locations.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education and other primary clinical care as it relates to foot care, within the full scope of Chiropody practice in accordance with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario..
This includes but is not limited to diabetic foot care, nail care and wound care as well as prescribing and fitting custom orthotics.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes in accordance with College of Chiropody of Ontario guidelines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropodist of Ontario.
2 years’ experience in Chiropody managing a patient caseload.
Must be in good standing with all Extended Health Care Insurances.
Knowledge and experience with SBI and Langer are mandatory.
Familiarity with casting using a laser box and iPad scanner mandatory.
Experience in a Sports Medicine/Rehabilitation environment is preferred.
