Job Description / Duties

- Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counselling and other primary clinical foot care activities to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
- Provide thorough and timely foot care for our clients
- Perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe and modify custom foot orthoses.
- Committed to ongoing clinical education, training and upkeep of administrative items
- Daily completion of patient charting and documentation.
- Make referrals to internal and external services and advocate on behalf of clients as appropriate
- Participate in occasional team and staff meetings
- Maintain competence and licence to practice as required

Qualifications / Required Skills

- Completion of Michener Chiropody D.Ch program or equivalent.
- Successful Registration with COCOO
- Has own E&O Insurance

Additional Information

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

Salary: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

We see a variety of patients and are hoping to bring on a well-rounded practitioner who is eager to join a practice and grow with us. Treatments offered include: Foot care, custom foot orthotics, ultrasound, wart treatments, SWIFT microwave therapy, Shockwave therapy, Nail procedures, and other soft tissue procedures such as wart excision and needling. We will train you in procedures you are not yet familiar with.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is a great communicator, self-aware and eager to learn. At our clinic, collaboration between practitioners and the exchange of new ideas is encouraged.
Our general hours are 10am - 6pm during the week and 9 am -4pm on weekends. There is some flexibility on days and hours that can be discussed upon successful hiring. We are looking for someone 2-3 days a week with potential to increase.
