What we are looking for:
Werkman, Boven & Associates is seeking a Part-Time Chiropodist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a Chiropodist at our clinic, you will have the opportunity to work alongside six experienced practitioners, a clinical assistant, and administrative support staff. This position offers a flexible schedule, making it ideal for practitioners seeking a part-time role.

Qualifications / Required Skills

What you will do:
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education/counselling and other primary clinical foot care activities to the full scope of Chiropody practice and according to the College of Chiropodists of Ontario
• Provide thorough and timely foot care for our clients.
• Perform detailed biomechanical assessments, prescribe, dispense and modify custom foot orthoses.
• Committed to ongoing clinical education, training, and upkeep of administrative items.
• Daily completion of patient charting and documentation.
• Make referrals to internal and external services and advocate on behalf of clients as appropriate.
• Participate in occasional team and staff meetings.
• Maintain competence and licence to practice as required.

Additional Information

What we offer:
• Wages – The wage for this position is dependent on experience and skills. We offer competitive compensation packages and are committed to providing fair and equitable salaries based on qualifications and market rates.
• Part- time (2 – 3 days per week with potential to increase)
• 16-24 hrs. per week

What we need from you
• Completion of Michener Chiropody D. Ch program or equivalent.
• Registration with COCOO in good standing
• Has own E&O Insurance
