Job Description / Duties

A caring attitude, an evidence-based clinical approach, and excellent communication skills are foundational practitioner characteristics that make Foot Care Freedom Clinic thrive. Proficiency in performing:
• routine care.
• wound care and offloading techniques.
• orthosis assessment, treatment and management.
• soft tissue surgery interventions.
• verrucae treatments.
• compression stocking therapy.

Qualifications / Required Skills

• Licensed Chiropodist/Podiatrist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
• No de-listings from insurance companies.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• Vulnerable person police check recommended.
• Interest in treating the health of the person, not just the foot.
• Willingness to work as a team and have a balanced portfolio of patient care.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and bring a high level of integrity to the job.
• Communicates effectively with all team members, shows interest in building community capacity, and an open-minded and understanding attitude toward the public.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will have an interest in taking on clinic and practice performance responsibilities and demonstrate leadership in the management of administrative operations at the St. Marys clinic site.
